The Indian Child Welfare Program advocates for and protects children who have been removed from their home due to neglect, physical, sexual or emotional abuse. Tribal social workers provide court advocacy and assist in the family reunification process.
The Indian Child Welfare Program is designated to provide child welfare services throughout the 13 counties within the Chickasaw Nation. Because of the large population of Chickasaws citizens in Cleveland and Oklahoma Counties, the Indian Child Welfare Program also provides services to these areas.
