We give thanks for the many blessings that have been bestowed upon us, particularly our families, our friends and our tribe.
We share a very special history that makes us keenly aware of the goodness of God. The Chickasaws who preceded us struggled mightily and encountered seemingly impossible obstacles. We have reaped the harvest of many, many wonderful Chickasaw lives because of their faith and perseverance.
We extend special holiday wishes to all our men and women serving in the military. We pray for your safety and your happy return home.
Season’s greetings go out to our Chickasaw veterans who served our country so honorably; to our treasured Chickasaw elders who add so much richness to our lives; to our Chickasaw families who may prayerfully become closer during this special season.
Let us remember in our prayers those who have trouble in their lives and those for whom there is no one to share this season. Our prayer is to promote peace by helping our fellow man whenever we have that opportunity.
The season of peace and fullness of spirit is upon us!
