Chukma! (a greeting "good" in Chickasaw). The Chickasaw Nation Library staff invites you to come visit our library. We have an outstanding collection of Native American books and other materials. Write or call for your library needs.
Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Books: Five books may be checked out by each adult on each visit. Children under 12 may check out four books on each visit. Parents sign for their children. The late charge on books is ten cents per day, up to a maximum amount equal to what it costs to replace the book.
Videotapes: Two videotapes per student (age 18 or over) or school may be checked out for two-day periods. The late charge is $2 per day, up to a maximum amount equal to what it costs to replace the tape.
Genealogy: There is a genealogist on staff to help you with your family historical research. This service is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You may write to the genealogist or call (580) 310-6488. All research has Chickasaw preference. Copies cost 10 cents each, after the first five copies.
