Directions
Adjacent to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in south-central Oklahoma, the Chickasaw Honor Garden is located on the grounds of the Chickasaw Cultural Center which is located 10 miles east of I-35 on Charles Cooper Memorial Road in Sulphur.
From OKC:
- Drive south on I-35 to Exit 55 (Hwy 7 - Davis/Sulphur)
- Merge onto Hwy 7, driving east for 9.9 miles
- Turn right on Charles Cooper Memorial Road, between McDonalds and Walmart
- Drive .86 miles to the Chickasaw Cultural Center, entrance on left
From Dallas:
- Drive north on I-35 to Exit 55 (Hwy 7 - Davis/Sulphur)
- Merge onto Hwy 7 and continue driving east for 9.9 miles
- Turn right on Charles Cooper Memorial Road, between McDonalds and Walmart
- Drive .86 miles to the Chickasaw Cultural Center, entrance on left
From Ada:
- Drive South on Hwy 1 for 9.7 miles
- Turn right on the Chickasaw Turnpike
- Stay on the turnpike for 17.3 miles, until it ends
- Turn left on Hwy 7
- Follow Hwy 7 for 1/2 mile
- Turn right on Charles Cooper Memorial Road, between McDonalds and Walmart
- Drive .86 miles to the Chickasaw Cultural Center, entrance on left
From Durant:
- Drive west on Hwy 70 for 27 miles
- Follow Hwy 70 to Hwy 177 north of Madill
- Stay on Hwy 177 to Sulphur, approximately 40 miles
- Turn left on Hwy 7
- Follow Hwy 7 for 2 miles
- Turn left on Charles Cooper Memorial Road, between McDonalds and Walmart
- Drive .86 miles to the Chickasaw Cultural Center, entrance on left
From Tishomingo:
- Go west on Hwy 22 to Ravia
- Turn right on Hwy 1
- Follow Hwy 1 to the junction with west Hwy 7, approximately 20 miles
- Turn left on west Hwy 7
- Follow Hwy 7 for 8 miles
- Turn left on Charles Cooper Memorial Road, between McDonalds and Walmart
- Drive .86 miles to the Chickasaw Cultural Center, entrance on left
