Subscribing to a Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feed is similar to subscribing to a magazine. When you subscribe to a magazine, each new issue is mailed directly to you. When you subscribe to an RSS feed, every time a new entry or article is published to the Web, a link to the entry or article is added to your reader.
If you are using a newer internet browser (ex. IE 7, Firefox 2, Safari 3, Opera 9) click on the XML icon and the RSS Feed will load in your browser. If your internet browser is not compatible with RSS then use one of the options below.
- Add a feed by entering a Web address
- Go to the site you want to add.
- Look for a little orange button similar to
, which indicates that the site syndicates its content.
- To find the url for the syndicated content, right-click the button and click Copy Shortcut.
- Paste the url into the appropriate location in your RSS reader.
