ADA, Okla. - More than 200 were on hand to witness five elected Chickasaw Nation officials take the oath of office. Ceremonies were conducted at 11 a.m. at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center.

Four tribal legislators and one Supreme Court Justice were sworn into office.

Connie Barker, Marietta, is the newly elected legislator for Pickens District Seat 2.

Incumbent Katie Case, Ada, was re-elected legislator for Pontotoc District Seat 3.

Incumbent legislators Dean McManus, Ada, and Steven Woods, Sulphur, were unchallenged.

They will continue to represent Pontotoc District Seat 4 and Tishomingo District Seat 3, respectively.

Incumbent Chickasaw Nation Supreme Court Justice Cheri L. Bellefeuille Gordon, Sulphur was also unchallenged.
