Chickasaw citizens ages 50 and older are invited to participate in the 2013 Senior Golf Academy at WinStar Golf Course in Thackerville, Okla. Academy participants will meet from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, June 10 through June 26.
The Chickasaw Senior Golf Academy is a three-week program designed to improve the play of intermediate and advanced golfers. Golf pros will walk participants through a series of skills training focusing on fundamentals of the game, short game and full swing.
Transportation is available in select areas, with designated pick-up locations and departure times in Ada, Ardmore, Davis, Madill, Pauls Valley, Purcell and Tishomingo.
Application deadline is May 31. The academy is limited to 40 players.
