Celebrate the spring equinox at the Chickasaw Cultural Center during the Three Sisters Spring Celebration, set Saturday, March 17.
Many fun outdoor activities, with an emphasis on the cultural connection to horticulture, are planned throughout the day.
Other activities include a language booth, cooking demonstrations, a stomp dance, traditional storytelling and a educational presentation of tribal clothing.
A Chickasaw Press book signing and a history presentation about the ancient Green Corn Ceremony are also planned.
The family movie "G-Force" will also play in the Anoli' Theatre at 1 p.m.

The Chickasaw Cultural Center hours are Tues-Sat. 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday 12 pm - 4 pm.
