Cultural Center Stomp Dance Presentation Set March 19

Chickasaw Nation Media Relations Office  The Chickasaw Nation Cultural Center, located in Sulphur, will host a stomp dancing demonstration from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, March 19, in the Anoli'Theater.   Chickasaw Nation Cultural Resources Director Eddie Postoak will open the event with a brief overview of stomp dancing and its history.  Following the presentation, there will be demonstrations of both stomp dances and social dances.  This event is free of charge.  For more information, contact the Chickasaw Cultural Center at 580-622-7130 online at www.chickasawculturalcenter.com.
