The Chickasaw Cultural Center in Sulphur, Okla. will host a Children's Festival 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 2.
This special celebration focused on young learners will feature a presentation by the Chickasaw Nation Chipota Chikashshanompoli (children speaking Chickasaw) Language Club as well as language and horticulture booths. Your children will have plenty to do with fun activities like stickball, archery, nunni catch, storytelling, mini family tree, face painting, paper sack turban and bean bag loksi toss. In addition, catch the movie "Finding Nemo" 1:30 p.m. at the Anoli' Theatre.
