Celebrate Father's Day at the Chickasaw Cultural Center

Bring dad to the Chickasaw Cultural Center, Saturday and Sunday, June 15-16 to celebrate Father's Day.

Fathers will receive free admission to Chikasha Poya Exhibit Center all weekend as well as complimentary cookies and tea in the Aaimpa Café.

A special stomp dance honoring fathers will be demonstrated and a father's day card workshop is planned for Saturday.

Special sales will be offered in the gift shop.

In addition, a traditional "living village" is open every weekend through Labor Day. Living history performers re-enact Chickasaw life in the 1750s and offer interactive activities for all ages including; basket making, hide tanning, archery, traditional children's games, craft and pottery demonstrations and stickball games.

The Father's Day Celebration will be conducted 10-5 p.m. Saturday, June 15 and noon- 5 p.m. Sunday, June 16.

The Chickasaw Cultural Center is located at 867 Cooper Memorial Drive in Sulphur.
