Chickasaw Nation Media Relations Office
While they accept applications year-round, the recruitment effort is boosted in early Spring. This effort is to identify children who might be eligible for the unique services provided by the Chickasaw Nation Head Start.
This comprehensive child development program serves income-eligible Native American families with children ages three to five years. It is designed to help children with the ability to react positively to their present environment as well as preparing them with skills needed to be ready for later responsibilities in school and life.
Children with special needs are a top priority at the Chickasaw Nation Head Start. Parents of these children are encouraged to take advantage of the support provided by enrolling them in the program.
For more information on enrollment or to obtain an application, contact the Chickasaw Nation Head Start centers in Ada, Ardmore, Duncan, Madill, Sulphur and Tishomingo.
