Annual Festival Includes Chickasaw Cultural Center "Sneak Preview"

On Friday, October 2 the grounds of the Chickasaw Cultural Center will be buzzing as hundreds of visitors get a sneak preview of the soon-to-open campus.

Events begin at 11 a.m. and run throughout the day. Highlights include a "Behind the Scenes" film of the progress of the cultural center, live performances in the amphitheater and cultural demonstrations and dinner in the Traditional Village.

The day will also include two showings – 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. – of the Chickasaw Nation's first feature film, "Pearl," the story of Chickasaw aviatrix Pearl Carter Scott.
