KCNP listeners now have the opportunity to have their questions answered on-air by the experts on a weekly call-in show which debuts 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 2.
"Connections" will feature a weekly guest or guests and will cover a variety of topics and issues of interest. The program will air live at 11 a.m. every Wednesday.
The development of the radio program was started by Governor Bill Anoatubby in response to a suggestion that came up during a recent visit with tribal citizens.
"Chickasaws will have a new place to share ideas and learn about what is happening within the Chickasaw Nation," said Gov. Anoatubby. "When listeners have the opportunity to ask questions about topics they are interested in and have them answered on the radio, it makes us all feel more connected. This is why the name Connections was chosen for the program."
Listeners will be invited to call the show's toll-free line at 1-TLK-895-KCNP (1-855-895-5267) to talk to each week's guest. Questions and comments for guests can also be emailed to feedback@kcnpradio.org.
Connections and other KCNP programming can be heard on 89.5 FM or streaming online at www.kcnpradio.org. Upcoming show topics will be posted on the KCNP Web site and on the Chickasaw Nation Web site at www.chickasaw.net.
