About
The Chickasaw Nation grants and scholarships for higher education are available to full-time and part-time undergraduate, graduate or doctoral college students. Students must be Chickasaw and possess a Chickasaw Nation citizenship card.
The grants and scholarships are intended to assist students by providing funding for tuition, fees, and books for those students pursuing a degree from an accredited institution of higher education. The field of study is not limited to a particular discipline. The primary objective of the grants and scholarships is to provide financial assistance in a manner that will increase the number of Chickasaw citizens attending college. Students applying for funding may attend any accredited college in the United States. Accredited comprehensive universities, regional universities, two-year colleges, private institutions and online universities are acceptable.
Award notification is given once all paperwork has been completed and returned before deadline. Deadlines are stated on the applications. The application and student handbook may be found at http://www.chickasaweducationservices.com/.
