WHAT: The Diabetes Care Center offers yearly educational updates and all routine tests and check-ups conveniently done in one morning. Depending on the person's needs, this may include:

  • Laboratory studies
  • General group discussions on:
    • Diabetes
    • Complications and how to prevent them
    • Treatment goals
  • Behavioral Health group discussion
  • Individual sessions with:
    • Retinal Photography
    • Foot Clinic
    • Pharmacy
    • Exercise counseling and prescription
    • Group nutrition discussion and meal planning

WHEN: Tuesday mornings, 8:30 a.m. - Noon

WHERE: Diabetes Care Center Conference Room, Carl Albert Indian Health Facility, Ada, Oklahoma.
