Clemente Courses: “Chickasha Imanahpah” courses are offered at East Central University in Ada, Okla. and Murray State College in Tishomingo, Okla. The three-hour college credit course explores western and tribal humanities with a focus on Chickasaw language and culture.

You Provide
  • High school diploma or GED
  • CDIB and/or citizenship card
Other Info

Required forms are available at the above address. An applicant must be able to read and write at a 12th grade level. A limited number of scholarships are available to eligible Chickasaw participants. The class is open to any interested person, but preference is given to Chickasaws and other Native Americans.

Deadlines

Fall semester - August 1
Spring semester - December 20
Applicants will receive notification within 10 working days.
