About

The child care assistance program provides child care assistance to Native American families who are working or going to school. The program permits parents to choose from many child care providers. Program options include any tribal child care center, private child care centers and private child care providers, if they meet licensing requirements.

The goal of the child care assistance program is to enable families to receive safe and healthy child care opportunities for children while parents, or care givers, engage in full-time employment and/or advance educational opportunities.

You Provide
  • CDIB
  • Immunization records
  • Income verification
  • Class schedule and/or work schedule
  • Social Security card for the child
  • Utility bills
  • Divorce decree (if applicable)
  • Birth certificate for child
Eligibility

Eligibility of the child care assistance program is based on household size, income and specific needs of applicants. Applicants must be working, attending school or actively pursuing steady employment and reside within the boundaries of the Chickasaw Nation.
