It’s that time of year again - time for the Chickasaw Nation Annual Meeting and Festival - September 25 through October 2!
This year is the 50th Chickasaw Nation Annual Meeting and the 22nd Chickasaw Festival. The 50th Annual Meeting marks a memorable celebration for 50 years of tradition and fellowship of the Chickasaw people. Many activities are planned to reflect and celebrate during this week.
Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby will deliver the "State of the Nation" address Saturday, October 2 at the Fletcher Auditorium on the campus of Murray State College in Tishomingo. The Annual Meeting allows Chickasaws to gather and learn about the progress of the Chickasaw Nation, as well as enjoy exciting entertainment and prizes.
Don’t miss your opportunity to enjoy exciting activities, cultural demonstrations, tournaments, tours and much more during this week-long event. Activities are scheduled in Tishomingo, Ada, Emet, Kullihoma and Sulphur.
