Individuals who can trace their heritage to an original enrollee listed on the Dawes Commission Roles may be eligible for a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB). With a CDIB and proof of Chickasaw heritage, an applicant may be awarded a Chickasaw citizenship card.

Eligible Chickasaw citizens throughout the U.S. are encouraged to vote in tribal elections. To do this, a citizen must complete and submit the voter registration forms.
