This program assists Chickasaws under the age of 60 with a utility crisis who are not otherwise helped by other service programs.

Some types of utility services paid include water, gas, electric and propane. Deposits are also included in this service.

The program is not to duplicate services provided by other energy assistance programs.  Assistance is provided once per fiscal year.

Required applications are available at any Area Office or from a CHR.

You Provide

• Chickasaw citizenship card
• Social Security card
• Proof of residency
• Utility bill with cut-off notice or deposit

Eligibility

• Must be under the age of 60 (60 and above see Tribal Energy Assistance Program)
• Must reside within the Chickasaw Nation
