The Chickasaw Nation Winter Fruit and Vegetable Program is committed to providing healthy fruits and vegetables to our Chickasaw seniors during the winter months to fill the gap between growing seasons in the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program.
Chickasaw seniors, 55 and older, receive a variety of healthy fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables each month, from November through March. These may be picked up from any one of our three nutrition centers located in Ada, Ardmore and Purcell. Additionally, we are offering nutrition education and food preparation demonstrations.
You may participate in the Chickasaw Nation Winter Fruit and Vegetable Program if you are:
- A Chickasaw citizen 55 years of age or older and a CDIB card holder
- Fully disabled Chickasaw citizen (as determined by SSI) under 55 years of age and a CDIB card holder
You Provide
- CDIB or citizenship card
- Proof of 100% disability (for disabled participants only)
Eligibility

Seniors who are currently participating in the Chickasaw Nation Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program are already enrolled and may simply come into one of our nutrition centers located in Ada, Ardmore, and Purcell to receive their fruit and vegetable package.
The Chickasaw Nation Division of Health offers a variety of programs and services at several convenient locations throughout our 13-county jurisdiction. The Chickasaw Nation Medical Center (CNMC) is located in Ada, Oklahoma and outlying clinics are located in Ardmore, Durant, Purcell and Tishomingo.
