Class Motto: “I’m not a failure if I try.”
The Chickasaw Nation Martial Arts Program is offered in five locations across the service area. The classes are offered free to citizens of the Chickasaw Nation and to Tribal employees. Other participants may enroll at a rate of $15 per month.
The martial arts program strives to build the five basic needs of the student:
- Character
- Sincerity
- Effort
- Etiquette
- Self-Control
Areas of instruction include:
- Aerobic Kickboxing
- Shotokan Karate
- Tae Kwon Do
- Kito Ryu Ju Jitsu
Aerobic Kickboxing classes are offered each Monday & Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. at the Chickasaw Nation Family Life Center in Ada, Oklahoma.
An annual tournament is held each year in June. For tournament information call 580-272-5504.
