Description
On October 1, 1994, the Chickasaw Nation assumed administrative and operational control of Carl Albert Indian Health Facility, a significant achievement for an Indian tribe in the United States. This marked the first time in history an Indian nation had negotiated a successful compact for an entire health care system.
