Did you know that just one pint of donated blood could save three lives?
Peoples Electric Cooperative (PEC), Chickasaw Nation Medical Center, Mercy Hospital and the Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) have teamed together once again to make this annual event a success!
Organizers have reserved July 2 from 3-8 p.m. for employees and their families. Donations are welcome on July 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission and food are free, with hot dogs and chips served throughout the day.
Each donor will receive a t-shirt and two admission vouchers to the Oklahoma City Zoo and a RedHawks game.
All healthy persons age 16 and older are encouraged to donate. Those under 18 must bring a signed parental permission slip, and weigh at least 125 pounds. All individuals 18 and older are required to weigh at least 110 pounds. Proper ID is required.
