The Chickasaw Nation provides a one-time, all-expense-paid trip for Chickasaw veterans over the age of 60 to travel to Washington, DC in appreciation of their military service. The trip’s itinerary includes tours of major war monuments and Smithsonian Museums, a visit to Arlington National Cemetery, a tour of the United States Capitol and many other activities.

Applicants must be Chickasaw elders and veterans. Space is limited Participants are selected according to years served.

  • Participants must not have participated in veteran’s trip
    program before

Program Details

This is a nationwide program created in appreciation for the military service of Chickasaw veterans. The program is available for Chickasaw veterans 60 years of age or older. Participants are selected by year(s) served. Those who served first, will be selected first for a one-time, all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C.

The Chickasaw Nation Aging Division staff will accompany the selected veterans on the trip. The trip’s itinerary includes tours of major war monuments, Smithsonian Museum tours, a visit to Arlington National Cemetery, a tour of the United States Capitol and many other fun and exciting activities. Eligible veterans must complete the attached form and return to the aging division.
