Chickasaw youth have a safe space to learn and grow through after-school programs and school break activities in Sulphur, Oklahoma, and the Chickasaw Nation’s historic capital city of Tishomingo.
Established in December 1998, the Chickasaw Youth Clubs (CYC) were created to promote and encourage children’s character development and leadership qualities.
The clubs provide education about multiple topics such as: nutrition, career development, health, life skills, art, sports, fitness and Chickasaw history and culture.
Members of the CYC may participate in the health and fitness program. This resource introduces children to sports such as golf, basketball, running and dance. In addition, children are educated on the importance of nutrition, teamwork and fellowship.
For specific information regarding the programs offered each week, contact your local club.
Applications are available at all club locations.
