Chikasha Ittifama (Chickasaw Reunion)

Each year, hundreds of Chickasaws and guests gather for an opportunity to experience culture, tradition and fellowship during the annual Chikasha Ittifama (Chickasaw Reunion).

The two-day celebration begins the first Friday in the month of May, with prayer, dinner, stickball and stomp dancing. The celebration is continued the next day, Saturday, with traditional games, crafts, cultural classes, a fishing derby, domino tournament, archery, a traditional meal and more.

Overnight camping spaces are available, including tent spaces, and a limited number of RV hookups.

To reach the site, travel to the Kullihoma sign 7 miles northeast of Ada on State Highway 1. Then, travel 3 miles east and 1 mile south.
