Dynamic Women of the Chickasaw Nation Conference

COVID-19 UPDATES

Out of an abundance of caution and to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, or COVID-19, certain Chickasaw Nation events, classes, facilities, etc., will be postponed, canceled or closed. The Chickasaw Nation Arts and Humanities Division will host the first session of the new Chikasha Ihoo Empowerment Series on Sept. 14. This quarterly event will highlight the accomplishments and unique perspectives of Chickasaw women. Chickasaw scholar and Columbia Law School graduate Mari Hulbutta will kick off the series by presenting “Native Resilience as a Tool for Healing and Empowerment” at the McSwain Theatre, 130 W. Main St., Ada, Oklahoma, Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. CT.

Dynamic Women of the Chickasaw Nation Conference

Recognizing the strength and leadership of Chickasaw women from all walks of life, the annual Dynamic Women of the Chickasaw Nation Conference salutes the valuable contributions, talents and skills of Chickasaw women.

The 2022 conference was a virtual experience, offered through online streaming and Zoom webinar on June 2-3. The theme was “Rooted in Resiliency,” and featured presentations, a panel discussion and the announcement of the 2022 Chickasaw Nation Dynamic Woman of the Year. View last year’s conference below.
