Emergency Department

The Emergency Department (ED), located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center, consists of 10 rooms on ED1 and 15 rooms on ED2 (urgent care). The ED is classified as Level 3 trauma center.

The ED combines personalized care with advances in technology in order to provide high-quality medical service. The physicians, mid-level practitioners and nurses are highly trained and skilled to handle any emergent situation that may arise and provide compassionate, quality care.

The ER also houses the Virtual Visit Clinic. This is a telemedicine clinic that gives our providers the ability to consult with patients in Oklahoma from the comfort of the patient’s home. This service has been very beneficial to residents in rural communities and to parents with small children, especially during flu season.

The ED is undergoing a renovation that is expected to be completed Spring 2019. This will add five additional rooms and give the ED the ability to treat more patients in a timely manner.
