This incentive-based program provides young Chickasaw citizens assistance with goal setting and provides an opportunity to learn valuable life skills in the company of other individuals seeking a guided path to success.

Applicants must be a Chickasaw citizen 14-21 years of age and a resident of Pontotoc County, Oklahoma.

Program Details

The Chickasaw Nation Hinoshi’ Chokma’, or “Good Paths” Program provides young Chickasaw ages 14 to 21 with assistance in goal setting and life skills.

An incentive-based program, Hinoshi’ Chokma,’ rewards participants with incentives as they accomplish a number of set goals.

Monthly group meetings provide an opportunity to learn valuable life skills in the company of other individuals seeking a guided path to success. Meeting attendees eat lunch together and are entered in a prize drawing.

Hinoshi’ Chokma’ mentors strive to make a positive impact on young Chickasaws and use their knowledge and experience to guide participants to a path of success.
