Every meaningful journey starts somewhere. The Chickasaw Nation celebrates individuals taking their first step toward substance misuse recovery and offers treatment options to support their healing journey.
Nittak Himitta' (A New Day) is a residential substance use treatment program serving First American women and their children up to age 12. Hina' Chokma' (Good Road) provides First American men and their families a healthy community environment and integrated substance use treatment options. Each participant receives an individual assessment and personalized treatment plan.
Both programs are culturally guided, trauma-informed and offer support services, including:
- Individual, group and family therapy
- Case management
- Clinical withdrawal management
- Relapse prevention education
- Domestic violence prevention services
Recovery is possible for everyone. For more information about these programs or eligibility requirements, visit
