Inclement Weather Notice

Out of an abundance of caution with the impending inclement weather, the Chickasaw Nation will close offices at 2 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, January 23, 2026, to allow extra time for people to travel home. We will continue to actively monitor the weather and make adjustments if an earlier closure time is needed.

Chickasaw Nation Department of Health (CNDH) employees should follow CNDH inclement weather protocols and policy. Chickasaw Nation Department of Commerce businesses should follow their line of support regarding inclement weather guidance.

The Chickasaw Nation Martial Arts Program offers Chickasaw families and Chickasaw Nation employees the opportunity to participate in a healthy lifestyle activity. The program provides a structured atmosphere and promotes healthy peer interaction.

Participants must be a Chickasaw Citizen, Chickasaw Nation employee or family member of a Chickasaw Nation employee.

Program Details

The Chickasaw Nation Martial Arts Program offers Chickasaw families and Chickasaw Nation employees the opportunity to partake in a healthy lifestyle activity that incorporates Chickasaw culture through Chickasaw language. The program provides a structured atmosphere and promotes healthy peer interaction, while building the five basic needs of the student: character, sincerity, effort, etiquette and self-control.

The Chickasaw Nation Martial Arts Program is offered in five locations across the Chickasaw Nation boundaries: Ada, Ardmore, Purcell, Sulphur and Tishomingo. Classes are available to Chickasaw citizens, Chickasaw Nation employees and their families. Enrollment is open year-around.

Other Information

Classes are blended with judo, jujitsu and karate disciplines.
