Camp Survivor

Camp Survivor is designed to promote a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition and exercise in a fun and positive camp atmosphere. Campers can expect to experience a variety of activities such as swimming, horseback riding, climbing wall, canoeing, fishing, hiking and stickball. There will be tribal councils, team building activities and competitions. "Accept the Challenge" and join us for excitement, adventure and fun.

Camp Survivor promotes a life-long healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition and exercise in a fun and positive camp atmosphere. Campers are provided healthy snacks and meals and learn how to read nutrition labels. This is an overnight camp.

 

You Provide:

  • Chickasaw citizenship card or CDIB card

Eligibility:

Native American children ages nine to 13 (Priority will be given to Chickasaw citizens)

Other Information:

While attending the camp, students are educated on the proper nutrition, ways to exercise and various other tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Camp Survivor will take place at the YMCA owned Camp Classen, near Davis, Okla.

Participants must have transportation to and from camp.
