The Chickasaw Nation Child Care Quality Grant helps eligible child care providers within the Chickasaw Nation improve the quality of the child care environment by offsetting expenses necessary for equipment, supplies, etc.

These grants cover a range of expenses including but not limited to:

• Smoke detectors and automated external defibrillator
• Toys
• Cribs
• Changing tables
• Security systems
• Tables and chairs
• Playground upgrades
• Fencing
• Cost-effective sheds
• Flooring
• Impact material
• Printers
• Humidifiers and purifiers
• Kids’ tables and chairs
• Storm shelter
• Learning tablets

Items NOT approved:

• Office chairs
• Recliners
• Office supplies
• New building and/or room construction
• Electronics (iPad, computers, gaming systems, etc.)

Eligibility

Providers must:

• Have a valid contract with Chickasaw Nation Child Care Assistance as of March 1, 2024
• Provide center-based, group home or family child care

Documentation

Applicants must provide an itemized list and documentation of requested items for approval. Once items are purchased, submit receipts to ChildCareGrants@Chickasaw.net no later than July 31, 2024 to be eligible the following year.
