Eligibility
  • Chickasaw citizens
  • Part-time or full-time postsecondary student
  • Enrollment in a state or nationally accredited career technology center, trade school or private licensed training facility, whereby graduating students receive a professional certification or license upon completion
  • Enrollment in a comprehensive university, regional university, two or four-year college, private institution, online university worldwide which is accredited by the United States Department of Education whereby graduating students receive an associate, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree
You Provide

Student support application with:

  • Proof of enrollment with current class schedule and credit hours
  • Unofficial transcript, high school transcript, HSE/GED scores
  • Income verification, if applicable
  • Housing verification
  • Utility bills
  • Other documentation may be requested to support current needs

Program Details

The student support program provides general financial assistance for college and career technology students to help overcome barriers related to postsecondary education opportunities. This may include but is not limited to housing, utilities, transportation, living expenses or remedial education services.

Higher Education

This program provides a wide variety of higher education grants, scholarships and incentives to Chickasaw college students each semester. The programs and services provided by the higher education program are intended to supplement the educational needs of all Chickasaw citizens pursuing a degree from an accredited institution of higher education.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) Assistance Program

The Chickasaw Nation Career and Technical Education (CTE) Assistance Program is available to part-time and full-time Chickasaw students attending a state or nationally accredited career technology center, trade school or privately licensed training facility, whereby graduating Chickasaw students receive a professional certification or license upon completion of their program, advanced or graduate certifications at college and universities, bridge programs, continuing education, license renewal coursework and other programs that may not lead to a traditional certification but can be the next step in the citizen’s career path are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Chickasaw Alumni Association

The Chickasaw Alumni Association, where you can grow your network, gain career insights and maintain lasting connections. Chickasaw citizens who have completed an associate, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree, or a professional certification or license program, are eligible to apply.

Other Information

Student support may provide funding to Chickasaw citizens once each fall and spring semester. The award amount may change based on need and other eligibility.
