Female Chickasaw artists ages 14-18 are invited to create and submit their own butterfly artwork for the Chickasaw Nation Butterfly Art Contest.
Butterflies hold deep meaning within the Chickasaw culture. They represent beauty, adaptability and perseverance. Winners of this contest will receive a $500 cash award and their artwork will be featured or incorporated on all promotional materials for the 2026 Dynamic Women of the Chickasaw Nation Conference.
Artwork should be logo ready, the focus of the submission and incorporate Chickasaw culture. Submit butterflies on a white background with a solid outline. Artists can use paint, drawing or collage to create their butterfly. Additional guidelines apply. Artwork that does not meet requirements will be excluded from judging.
