This Halloween season, the Chickasaw Nation is hosting candlelit walking tours of Fort Washita Oct. 21-25. Ghost stories about the fort’s historical residents will be shared during each tour.
Tours are open to the public and have no age restriction. Tour group size is limited.
Call (580) 924-6502 to reserve your spot. Reservations can be made starting Oct. 1.
Admission is $5 per person. Payment is due upon arrival. Cash, check or cards are accepted.
Fort Washita is located within the Chickasaw Nation thirteen miles east of Madill or sixteen miles west of Durant on State Highway 199.
