In observance of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, Chickasaw Nation Suicide Prevention Services is hosting a screening of “Suicide: The Ripple Effect” at the McSwain Theatre. This is available at no cost.
This feature length documentary highlights the journey of Kevin Hines, who at age 19 attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. Now, Hines is a champion for suicide prevention and mental health awareness. He has devoted his life to suicide prevention advocacy through powerful storytelling and sharing his personal experience with people around the world.
