Female Chickasaw artists ages 14 to 18 are invited to create and submit their own butterfly artwork for the Chickasaw Nation Butterfly Art Contest.
A symbol of the beauty, inspiration and determination of Chickasaw women throughout history, the winning butterfly will promote the 2027 Dynamic Women of the Chickasaw Nation Conference.
The selected artist will also receive a $500 cash award.
Artwork and completed entry forms must be submitted to Cultural Enhancement by Nov. 27.
Artists can use paint, drawing or collage to create their butterfly. Additional guidelines apply. Artwork that does not meet requirements will be excluded from judging.
