Yancey and his wife, Sabra, begin building their lives during the Oklahoma Land Run of 1889. They start a newspaper, the Oklahoma Wigwam, and grow it into a successful business. Over the years, as their family grows and the territory evolves, they face the challenges of frontier life, personal hardships and shifting politics.
