Out of an abundance of caution and to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, or COVID-19, certain Chickasaw Nation events, classes, facilities, etc., will be postponed, canceled or closed. Chickasaw citizens and other First American families with children ages 19 and under can receive help finding affordable health care choices.
Connecting Kids to Coverage is a national grant-funded program helping children, teens and eligible adults receive health care benefits provided by state and federal programs such as SoonerCare and Medicaid.
Benefits for children can include regular checkups, immunizations, doctor and dentist visits, hospital care, mental health services, prescriptions and more, with qualifying health care coverage. Adults over 19 may qualify for SoonerPlan for family planning needs.
Services are available to anyone by phone. Chickasaw citizen and First American preference will be given.
