Program Details

Funding is provided once every two years and can be used for contacts or glasses only.

Eligible eyeglasses are produced by Oklahoma Optical. Specialty lenses and frames are available at a low cost. Non-prescription sunglasses are not eligible.

Assistance is available to help citizens with medical expenses when all other resources have been exhausted. This program provides Chickasaw citizens the information needed to make informed decisions about their health care. Case managers advocate for patients, educate citizens about available resources, facilitate appointments and more. Applicants must be a Chickasaw citizen.
Chickasaws At-Large
Health spending accounts enable citizens to obtain insurance coverage for a wide variety of medical expenses. The maximum monthly benefit is $300 and can be applied to Medicare Part B and D premiums, prescriptions, copayments and more. Applicants must be a Chickasaw citizen aged 65 and older or permanently disabled on Medicare and live outside of the Chickasaw Nation boundaries. Additional eligibility requirements may apply.
Chickasaw Nation Residents Chickasaws At‑Large
The hearing aid program provides a new pair of hearing aids every three years. Applicants must be a Chickasaw citizen and a patient at a Chickasaw Nation Department of Health facility.
Chickasaw Nation Residents Chickasaws At‑Large
This program provides prescription drug assistance for Native Americans and non-Native American spouses with active private or Medicare Part D Prescription Insurance (federally recognized tribes only). Applicants must be a First American or non-First American spouse.
