The health and safety of Chickasaws, employees and patrons is our main priority. As the coronavirus, or COVID-19, spreads globally and cases rise in the U.S., some Chickasaw Nation events, classes, facilities, etc., will be postponed, closed or canceled out of an abundance of caution.

COVID-19 UPDATES

Out of an abundance of caution and to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, or COVID-19, certain Chickasaw Nation events, classes, facilities, etc., will be postponed, canceled or closed. For a complete list of postponements, cancelations or closures, visit the COVID-19 INFORMATION page. We will continue to update the list as the situation progresses.

Chickasaw Nation Veterans Services provides assistance to Chickasaw veterans or their next of kin. This program provides outreach services and assists with the acquisition of veterans' benefits and services from Veterans Affairs and other veterans organizations.

Veterans may qualify for benefits in peacetime and wartime and do not need military health records to file claims.

You Provide

  • Copy of CDIB and Chickasaw tribal citizenship
  • And one of the following:
  • Copy of DD214 or NGB22
  • Copy of state-issued driver’s license with veterans logo

Eligibility

  • Be a Chickasaw citizen
  • Must be a veteran or currently serving in the military (Active duty, National Guard or Reserve)
  • Be next of kin to a veteran

Other Information

Chickasaw veterans are invited to enjoy fellowship at the Veterans Lodge Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. located on the Ada South Campus.

The 15,000-square-foot lodge, located on the Ada South Campus, is equipped with a rec room where visitors can relax while waiting between medical appointments or anytime during the day.

Beginning April 1, 2020, the veterans lodge is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays.

Below are organized activity times. These activities are also available any time the lodge is open.

Mondays:          Billiards, 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Tuesdays:          Board games, 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Wednesdays:    Dominoes, 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Thursdays:        Card games, 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Fridays:              Billiards, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Saturdays:         Billiards, 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
                            Ping pong, 1 and 3 p.m.
                            Board games, dominoes, card games, 4 p.m.
Monthly:            Education Sessions (every second Friday)

All activities are tentative and may change due to other scheduled activities.

A representative from the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs is stationed at the veterans lodge every Monday from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

The representative assists veterans with filing claims with the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs.
