Message from the Commissioner of Tribal Law Enforcement, Randy Wesley

On behalf of the men and women of the Chickasaw Lighthorse Police Department, thank you for exploring our organization, our divisions, teams, services and accomplishments. Our goal is to provide community safety, information and opportunities for collaboration.

The Chickasaw Lighthorse Police Department maintains high standards in the selection and hiring of quality employees and providing outstanding service to the communities of the Chickasaw Nation.

Our Mission

The mission of the Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police Department is to protect the lives and property of the people we serve, reduce the occurrence and fear of crime, preserve peace and provide a safe environment while working in partnership with the Native American and non-Native communities to enhance their quality of life. Our mandate is to do so with honor and integrity, while at all times conducting ourselves with the highest ethical standards to maintain public trust.

Community Policing

The Lighthorse Police Department utilizes the community-oriented policing approach to resolve law enforcement concerns in the community. This philosophy is focused on building partnerships between police officers and citizens. Working together, solutions to concerns are discovered and resolutions are achieved through partnership and cooperation.

Lighthorse officers present information to members of the community on a variety of public safety topics.

To receive police records, please complete and return the records request form to the email address provided on the form. The form must accompany all records requests.
